About

Built by podcast people, for podcast people.

PrepCast is a podcast brief generator made by the team behind Pristine Podcasts, a post-production agency that helps independent hosts ship better shows every week.

Who built this

PrepCast is built by Kostandin Gjini, founder of Pristine Podcasts. After three years editing other people's shows, I watched hosts burn 2 to 3 hours per episode on prep, Googling guests, scrolling old transcripts, staring at blank docs. I built PrepCast to collapse that into 60 seconds, using the back catalog you already have.

If you want to talk shop, I'm at team-red@pristinepodcasts.com or on LinkedIn.

Why we built it

Running Pristine Podcasts, we sit inside hundreds of episodes a month. The pattern was always the same. Hosts who loved recording, hated prepping. The night before a session became a scramble of tabs, half-read articles, and a Google Doc that never quite came together.

We kept thinking, the answers are already in the back catalog. Every show has its own voice, its own running threads, its own questions it has not asked yet. A good prep doc is mostly just the discipline to go look.

PrepCast is that discipline, automated. You connect your show, we read every past episode, and we hand you a ready-to-record brief for your next one.

How we did it

01

Listen to everything

We ingest your full RSS feed, transcribe every episode, and index the topics, guests, questions, and recurring threads.

02

Learn the show, not just the words

Tone, pacing, the kind of questions you actually ask. The model is tuned per show, not a generic chatbot wearing your logo.

03

Hand you a brief, not a research dump

One page. Talking points, fresh angles, questions worth asking, things you have already covered. Print it, walk in, press record.
